Essentially, State and Federal Government grants pay for teachers’ salaries.  School fees are needed for all other school operations which include:

• all educational resources
• computer software and hardware
• the maintenance of school grounds and buildings
• heat, light and power
• pest control
• water and sewerage rates
• insurance
• engagement of extra teaching support and staff
• telephone
• stationary
